In response to Covid-19 and the State of Maine / CDC guidelines, Hadley's Point
Campground is working tirelessly to ensure the safety of our guests, our staff and our
community all while keeping the same customer service and quality of camping you've
come to know. We will continue to monitor the situation and modify our operating
procedures in accordance with the recommended guidelines. Please note: these
guidelines will affect what amenities we will be allowed to operate (see "our facilities
page"), we will update accordingly.

The State of Maine has implemented a Phased Re-opening Plan: We at Hadley's Point
Campground fit under the Phase 2 to re-open for lodging and campgrounds.
Phase 2: Based on current Phase 2 re-opening guidelines put in place by the
State of Maine, lodging/ camping is restricted to Maine Residents only. *
Phase 3: Based on current Phase 3 re-opening guidelines put in place by the
State of Maine there is mention of a 14-day quarantine period for visitors from out of
state. We are confident that alternative measures will be adopted and this period will
not be required. If you currently have a July reservation, you are welcome to keep it at
this time and we will keep you updated as developments are made.
Out-Of-Staters who currently have June reservations:
We are working on contacting our out-of-state guests with June reservations. Currently the Maine
governor has issued a mandate that any visitors coming into Maine must quarantine for 14-days. We
have several options available regarding your reservation- You may:
- Reschedule your stay to later in the 2020 season and your full deposit will transfer to your new
- Cancel your 2020 reservation and transfer your full deposit to 2021; we will contact you when
we begin taking reservations for the new season to confirm dates and site/ cabin options.
- Cancel reservation and receive a full refund of your deposit- applies for June reservations
Hadley's Point Campground Amenities currently affected due to Covid-19:
With the new guidelines in place, some of the amenities we normally offer are either
unavailable or temporarily closed until further notice. We will update accordingly.
Island Explorer Shuttle
Service postponed indefinitely for the 2020 season.
Pool and Playground
Closed until further notice.
Limited Store/ Office Hours:
Our office hours will be reduced and will be posted weekly.
At this time there will be no grocery items, snacks, or coffee available for purchase.
Wood and Ice are available
Limited camping supplies will be available
Only 1 guest at a time will be allowed in the office and a mask is required. We will have
a phone number available should you prefer to conduct transactions via telephone.
Laundry hours will follow our Office hours.
Only 1 guest at a time will be allowed in Laundry.
Check-in procedures- To make your stay with us as easy as we can, we have adopted
a new check-in procedure. Our office staff will contact you 1-2 days prior to your
scheduled arrival. We will verify your reservation information and your balance due.
Upon arrival, staff will meet you at your vehicle with a packet of information, a receipt for
signature, and will escort you to your site/ cabin. We do ask that if anyone in your party is
feeling sick or may have been exposed to COVID-19 that you please stay home.
During your stay if you need Ice, Wood, HoneyWagon service or questions for our office
staff, please call us at (207) 288-4808 and we will help you via telephone. Our night line
(207)801-1119 is available during non-office hours for maintenance issues or
Cleaning Efforts- While Hadley's Point Campground has always regarded the
cleanliness of our facilities and grounds to be of utmost importance, during this time we
will be taking extra measures and precautions to keep our customers, staff and
- Hand sanitizer dispensers have been placed throughout the campground for guest use.
- Public areas and high touch surfaces will be wiped down on a regular basis.
- We use EPA-registered cleaning products that are recommended by the CDC for Covid-19.
- We have 3 bath house buildings throughout the campground. Please note the location of all three in case the one closest to your campsite is closed for cleaning/disinfecting.
